Saltburn and Redcar
The beach between Saltburn and Redcar provides photographic opportunities at all times of day and in all seasons of the year.
Saltburn is a particular favourite location of mine. As I live five minutes from the beach it allows me to respond quickly when the light looks like it might present those special moments that landscape photographers enjoy.
Just north of Redcar is a location known locally as South Gare. Its location on the mouth of the river Tees adjacent to industrial Teesside offers a very different but no less photogenic location.
